Kecia Chapman, Ph.D., J.D.
She is an educator. Dr. Chapman fully understands the power of education and has made it her goal to give back in any way that she can. She has been a Teacher, Administrator, and currently serves as the Executive Director of Assessment, Accountability, and Research for Birmingham City Schools. Dr. Chapman received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Montevallo. Her Master’s Degree, Education Specialist Degree, and her Administrative Certification were awarded from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy from both the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She considers it an honor and a privilege to prepare students to lead and succeed in all life endeavors.
She is an advocate. Dr. Chapman received her Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2024. She is dedicated to resolving challenges, diligently working for her clients and helping them achieve their goals. She is also a licensed notary in the State of Alabama.
